This Week in High School Sports: 2/19/16

This edition of "This Week In High School Sports" features East Lansing basketball standout Brandon Johns, passes out two Game Balls and finishes with commentary about a basketball tournament record that is 60 years old.  

This Week In High School Sports will lead each show with feature stories from around the state from the MHSAA’s Second Half or from network affiliated stories and interviews. "Be The Referee," a 60-second look at the fine art of officiating, highlights the middle of the show and is followed by a closing "Perspective."

This week's edition introduces the 35th MHSAA/Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete Awards, presents Game Balls to high achievers in volleyball, swimming and cross country; and highlights a Grass Lake quarterback gaining national fame for his singing voice.
