This Week in High School Sports: 1/27/17

January 27, 2017

The latest edition of "This Week In High School Sports" features the new Pixellot technology being used by the School Broadcast Program at Otisville-LakeVille, discusses rough post play in boys basketball in its Be The Referee segment, and finishes with an MHSAA Perspective on the Holt wrestling community rallying around longtime coach Rocky Shaft to raise funds for an assist dog to help him in his battle with diabetes.

The 5-minute program, powered by MI Student Aid, leads off each week with feature stories from around the state from the MHSAA’s Second Half or network affiliates. "Be The Referee," a 60-second look at the fine art of officiating, comes in the middle of the show; and is followed by a closing MHSAA "Perspective."
