This edition of "This Week In High School Sports" features the Lower Peninsula Cross Country Finals; passes out two Game Balls and finishes with an MHSAA Perspective on why the first round of tournaments is called Districts.
This Week In High School Sports will lead each show with feature stories from around the state from the MHSAA’s Second Half or from network affiliated stories and interviews. "Be The Referee," a 60-second look at the fine art of officiating, highlights the middle of the show and is followed by a closing "Perspective."

This week's edition brings us up to speed on the Winter championship schedule, presents Game Balls to high achievers in wrestling and basketball, spells out the dimensions for hoops and closes with an update on officials recruitment.
The 5-minute program each week includes feature stories from MHSAA.com or network affiliates, along with "Be the Referee," a 60-second look at the fine art of officiating.
