This Week in High School Sports: 11/18/16

The latest edition of "This Week In High School Sports" features Pewamo-Westphalia running back Jared Smith, passes out two Game Balls, discusses automatic first downs on Be The Referee and finishes with an MHSAA Perspective on behind-the-scenes heroes.    

The 5-minute program, powered by MI Student Aid, leads off each week with feature stories from around the state from the MHSAA’s Second Half or network affiliates. "Be The Referee," a 60-second look at the fine art of officiating, comes in the middle of the show; and is followed by a closing MHSAA "Perspective."

This edition of "This Week in High School Sports" features a report on the debut of Sturgis football coach Chance Stewart and the Trojans’ last-minute victory over Three Rivers, presents Game Balls to the Leslie girls and boys cross country teams and Johannesburg-Lewiston football's Sheldon Huff, discusses a clock-stopping rule change in football and concludes with a feature on soccer referee Alexus Little.
