This Week is High School Sports: 10/2/15

This Week In High School Sports leads off this week with a feature about high school teams giving back through special nights, hands out game balls to Karina VanDuinen of Muskegon Reeths-Puffer and Dylan Fritz and David Binder of Owendale-Gagetown, and concludes with a commentary about a new study revealing how many parents hope their high school athlete eventually will go pro.

This Week In High School Sports will lead each show with feature stories from around the state from the MHSAA’s Second Half or from network affiliated stories and interviews. "Be The Referee," a 60-second look at the fine art of officiating, highlights the middle of the show and is followed by a closing "Perspective."

“This Week in High School Sports” returns for 2022-23, introducing the redesigned MHSAA.com website, awarding Game Balls to standouts in soccer, tennis and volleyball; explaining a change to the intentional grounding rule and highlighting some key dates and ways to watch this football season.

MI Student AidThe 5-minute program each week includes feature stories from MHSAA.com or network affiliates, along with "Be the Referee," a 60-second look at the fine art of officiating.
