In this week's edition of MHSAA Perspective, John Johnson talks about the track record of high school sports in general and the MHSAA specifically as it pertains to concussions.
Now in its 10th season, the radio commentary MHSAA Perspective – presented by the Michigan Army National Guard – airs on over 80 radio stations and audio outlets across the state, generally during the local broadcasts of high school games. The program runs for 30 weeks through the end of the winter sports season.

The latest edition of "This Week In High School Sports" discusses the MHSAA's new pitching limit rule for baseball, passes out two Game Balls, explains how new officials get game-ready in Be The Referee and finishes with an MHSAA Perspective on MHSAA rules related to national championship events.
The 5-minute program, powered by MI Student Aid, leads off each week with feature stories from around the state from the MHSAA’s Second Half or network affiliates. "Be The Referee," a 60-second look at the fine art of officiating, comes in the middle of the show; and is followed by a closing MHSAA "Perspective."
