Perspective: Sowing Seeds

March 19, 2015

In this week's edition of MHSAA Perspective, John Johnson talks about the seeding of MHSAA Tournaments, how it's happened in some sports, and why it hasn't happened in basketball.

Now in its 10th season, the radio commentary MHSAA Perspective – presented by the Amber Alert Foundation – airs on over 80 radio stations and audio outlets across the state, generally during the local broadcasts of high school games. The program runs for 30 weeks through the end of the winter sports season.

This Week in High School Sports: 9/3/15

September 3, 2015

The second edition of This Week In High School Sports features the Engadine-Brimley 8-player football game from last week, passes out three Game Balls, talks about spearing in the Be The Referee segment and says good-bye to a few good coaches.

This Week In High School Sports will lead each show with feature stories from around the state from the MHSAA’s Second Half or from network affiliated stories and interviews. "Be The Referee," a 60-second look at the fine art of officiating, highlights the middle of the show and is followed by a closing "Perspective."
