Student Advisory Council Goes to Camp

The Michigan High School Athletic Association gains valuable input during the school year from its Student Advisory Council, while providing leadership training to the 16-member group of seniors and juniors representing schools of all sizes from all over the state.
This June, for the second summer, SAC members got a kick start on their upcoming duties by spending two days and a night at Mystic Lake Camp near Farwell.
Fourteen students attended the retreat June 19-20, The below video includes highlights of the trip and tells a little bit more about the significant roles the council plays.

Each fall, the MHSAA Student Advisory Council is featured in a video version of its belief statement that is viewed by thousands on scoreboards before MHSAA tournaments as well as on the association's family of web sites.
