Cross Country
The Croswell-Lexington girls won their second invitational, this time at Port Huron and led again by now two-time individual champ Rachel Bonner, while the boys team also was victorious – Port Huron Times-Herald
The Rochester Adams girls and boys teams swept the Cicciarelli Invitational – but the jewel of this report is the story of how Brighton runner Chip Osborne quit his race while running third to assist another runner who had collapsed because of dehydration – Oakland Press

1. BOYS BASKETBALL North Farmington clinched the Oakland Activities Association Red championship with a 73-54 win over Ferndale in a matchup of statewide contenders in Divisions 1 and 2, respectively – Oakland Press
2. BOYS BASKETBALL Cassopolis finished an outright championship run in the Southwest 10 Conference South with a 59-37 win over Centreville – Sturgis Journal
3. BOYS BASKETBALL Ludington clinched a share of the West Michigan Conference Lakes championship with a 69-31 win over Muskegon Orchard View – Ludington Daily News

7. BOYS BASKETBALL Muskegon downed Kalamazoo Central 67-60 in a matchup of top teams in Division 1 – Muskegon Chronicle
8. BOYS BASKETBALL Traverse City St. Francis defeated McBain 61-49 in a matchup of strong Division 3 teams – Cadillac News
9. GIRLS BASKETBALL Harbor Beach and Reese advanced with Division 3 District wins – Huron Daily Tribune
