We’re at the point in our school year where there were no events played Monday – Softball Quarterfinals are today, as are half of our Girls Soccer Semifinals – but here are a few headlines to check out as we continue to move through the final week of 2018-19.
This weekend: The Baseball, Softball and Girls Soccer Finals return to Michigan State University’s Old College Field beginning Thursday, and the Greater Lansing Sports Authority fills in the details – LansingSports.org

CROSS COUNTRY The Marquette boys and Goodrich girls won the Elite races at the Shepherd Invitational and were among eight varsity champions overall; Marquette’s boys are top-ranked in Upper Peninsula Division 1, and the Goodrich girls and No. 2 in Lower Peninsula Division 2 – Midland Daily News | Athletic.net
2. BOYS SOCCER Division 2 No. 11 Bay City John Glenn shut out all three of its opponents to win the Swartz Creek Invitational and broke its program record for wins – Bay City Times

6. BOYS TENNIS Muskegon Reeths-Puffer edged Whitehall to win the Greater Muskegon Athletic Association championship – Local Sports Journal
7. CROSS COUNTRY The LPD1 No. 13 Grand Haven and Grand Rapids NorthPointe Christian girls and LPD2 No. 2 Allendale and LPD3 No. 5 Saugatuck boys were champions at the Allendale Invitational – Grand Haven Tribune | Athletic.net
8. GIRLS GOLF Grand Rapids Christian carded a 348 to win the Ludington Invitational by five strokes ahead of Spring Lake – Ludington Daily News
