Football: Derek Pfaff had been among stars of Harbor Beach’s 2012 Division 8 championship team. Less than two years later, he nearly lost his life in an attempted suicide. CROSS COUNTRY Jackson Lumen Christi swept Division 3-4 titles, and the host DeWitt girls and Howell boys also won at the DeWitt Invitational, the Highlanders claiming their first invite win since 2007.
