Reigning Division 1 champion and top-ranked Warren DeLaSalle came back from a five-run deficit to down No. 9 Clinton Township Chippewa Valley 9-6 – Macomb Daily

Boys Lacrosse

Reigning Southwest Michigan Lacrosse Conference champion Battle Creek Harper Creek edged rival Lakeview 8-7 – Battle Creek Enquirer

Girls Soccer

In a matchup of top teams in the Flint area and statewide, reigning Division 3 runner-up Flint Powers Catholic downed 2015 Division 2 runner-up Fenton 1-0 – Flint Journal

Track & Field

Pinckney swept boys and girls duals against Howell, but the Highlanders’ David Mitter swept the distance events against one of his top rivals – Livingston Daily Press & Argus

1. BOYS SOCCER Division 1 No. 2 Troy earned a 1-0 win over No. 3 Berkley in an Oakland Activities Association Red matchup of statewide contenders – Oakland Press

2. VOLLEYBALL Division 1 No. 8 Coopersville swept Division 2 No. 10 Hudsonville Unity Christian in an Ottawa-Kent Conference Blue matchup also featuring state-ranked teams – FOX 17

3. CROSS COUNTRY The Ludington girls and Reed City boys won Leanna Wolf Geers Invitational titles in Scottville; Reed City is ranked No. 3 in Lower Peninsula Division 3 – Local Sports Journal

4. VOLLEYBALL Lake Orion swept Division 2 No. 3 Detroit Country Day – Oakland Press

5. VOLLEYBALL Fenton earned a major win over reigning Flint Metro League Stripes champion Flushing, 3-1 – WJRT

6. VOLLEYBALL Division 2 No. 6 Frankenmuth remained undefeated with sweeps of Swartz Creek, Midland and Freeland – Saginaw News

7. BOYS SOCCER Grand Blanc and Division 2 No. 7 Fenton played to a 1-1 draw – Mid-Michigan Now

8. VOLLEYBALL Brighton added to its winning streak over Hartland with a sweep – Livingston Daily Press & Argus

9. VOLLEYBALL Edwardsburg earned a four-set win over Niles – Niles Daily Star

10. VOLLEYBALL Holland Christian also needed four sets to defeat Hamilton – Holland Sentinel
