“Comeback” was the name of the game on basketball courts across the state – and at a southeastern bowling center too – Monday night, as teams that weren’t snowed out instead stormed late to earn notable victories.
1. Girls Basketball: Sequoia Jackson’s pair of late 3-pointers pushed Detroit Mumford past Detroit Renaissance 50-48 – Detroit News
2. Boys Basketball: Ironwood improved to 9-0 with a 93-82 double-overtime win over Mellen (Wis.) – The Upbeat
3. Girls Basketball: Flat Rock came back after trailing heading into the fourth quarter to down Grosse Ile 49-47 – Southgate News-Herald
4. Boys Basketball: Tekonsha came back from 14 points down to defeat Hillsdale Academy 50-45 – Coldwater Daily Reporter
5. Bowling: Adrian’s boys came back from a 10-0 deficit to beat Temperance Bedford 16-14, while the Bedford girls won more comfortably 23-7 – Adrian Daily Telegram
6. Boys Basketball: Hart came back from a one-point deficit at the start of the fourth quarter to beat Pentwater 52-36 – Ludington Daily News
7. Girls Basketball: Samantha Dorn scored 15 second-half points to push Riverview past New Boston Huron 51-43 – Southgate News-Herald
8. Girls Basketball: Riverview Gabriel Richard held off Allen Park Cabrini for a 46-43 win – Southgate News-Herald
9. Boys Basketball: Scottville Mason County Central edged Manistee 32-30 in a back-and-forth defensive battle – Ludington Daily News
