A pair of undefeated girls basketball teams continued to thrive Thursday to lead the day’s statewide headliners.
1. Girls Basketball: Menominee moved to 9-0 this season with a 59-44 win over West Iron County – Iron Mountain Daily News
2. Girls Basketball: Kingston also improved to 9-0 with a 38-24 win over Peck – NBC 25
3. Boys Basketball: Ravenna moved into first place alone in the West Michigan Conference with a 62-56 win over Muskegon Oakridge – Local Sports Journal

1. GIRLS GOLF Brighton shot a two-day 629 to win the 33-team Lober Classic for the third-straight season, this time 29 strokes ahead of runner-up Grand Rapids Catholic Central – Livingston Daily Press & Argus
2. BOYS TENNIS Midland Dow was 23-1 in match play at the Grand Blanc quad, shutting out the Bobcats and East Lansing and defeating Troy Athens 7-1 – Midland Daily News
3. BOYS TENNIS Big Rapids won 21 of 24 matches in finishing first at the Ludington quad that also included Zeeland East and Greenville – Big Rapids Pioneer
