3. Boys Soccer: Pontiac won its first District game in program history, downing Armada 3-2 in Division 2 – Oakland Press
4. Boys Soccer: DeWitt took East Lansing to overtime before the Trojans emerged with a 2-1 win in a Division 2 opener – Lansing State Journal
5. Boys Soccer: No. 12 Plymouth also survived a close Division 1 opener, clipping Salem 1-0 – Observer & Eccentric
6. Volleyball: Unranked Lapeer was the big winner of its tri-match, downing Saginaw Michigan Lutheran Seminary and also Class B No. 9 Freeland in five sets – Saginaw News

1. CROSS COUNTRY The Freeland and Goodrich girls and Frankenmuth and Midland boys won at the Northwood Invitational – Saginaw News | Athletic.net
2. GIRLS GOLF Bay City Western reclaimed the Bay County title, finishing ahead of two-time reigning champion John Glenn by 13 strokes – Bay City Times
3. VOLLEYBALL Kingsley finished 6-0 to win its invitational, defeating Gaylord in the championship match – Traverse City Record-Eagle
4. VOLLEYBALL Manton went 5-0-1 and defeated Onekama in the final to win its invitational – Cadillac News
5. VOLLEYBALL Division 1 honorable mention Muskegon Mona Shores won all four of its matches to claim the gold bracket championship at the Fruitport Invitational – Local Sports Journal
