MHSAA TV Loaded for Start of New Year

Coming off a two-week break, basketball games dominate the coming week’s action on MHSAA.tv – most of it live – streamed by students involved in the MHSAA’s School Broadcast Program.
In its seventh year, the School Broadcast Program gives members an opportunity to showcase excellence in their schools by creating video programming of athletic and non-athletic events with students gaining skills in announcing, camera operation, directing/producing and graphics.
The program also gives schools the opportunity to raise money through advertising and viewing subscriptions.
All sporting events – Live or On-Demand – are available on a subscription basis only for their first 72 hours online. They become available for free, on-demand viewing approximately 72 hours following their completion.
Here’s the schedule School Broadcast Program members plan to stream this week for broadcast at MHSAA.tv. On-Demand listings may be available as soon as one hour following an event’s completion. (List as of Jan. 5):

Each week, MHSAA.tv features highlights of events produced by schools involved in the MHSAA School Broadcast Program. This week's package includes clips from the Sault Ste. Marie/Bay City Central hockey and Calumet/Ontonagon boys basketball game, plus buzzer-beating shots from around the state.
Instant Downloads of Fall Finals Available

Christmas shopping for keepsakes of selected MHSAA Tournaments from the Fall sports season is as easy as going online for instant downloads and DVDs of championship games broadcast on the NFHS Network/MHSAA.tv, FOX Sports Detroit and MHSAANetwork.com.
Instant downloads of games are $19.95 for video or $4.99 for audio. DVDs are $24.95 – allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery.
“The Instant Downloads can be viewed on your handheld device or computer, or you could put them on a flash drive to watch on your smart TV at home,” said John Johnson, MHSAA Director of Broadcast Properties.
Downloads and DVDs are available for the 11-Player and 8-Player Football Finals, the Boys Soccer Finals, and the Semifinals and Finals of the Girls Volleyball Tournament. Here’s a complete list:
