HULKONEN SETS LeCLAIRE - L'Anse captured the first set of the match, 25-16 against Ironwood. On this play, Lindsey Hulkonen sets up Vanessa LeCaire for the kill.

FORCE DIGIORGIO - Emily DiGiorgio was outstanding at the net for Ironwood against L'Anse. Here's a big spike in the second set, a marathon game won by the Red Devils, 30-28.

YOUNGGREN OVER THE BLOCK - L'Anse ties the score at 10 in the fourth set when Abbey Younggren lofts one over an Ironwood block. Ironwood won this set, 25-21.

DUDO ENDS A LONG RALLY - Breanna Dudo finishes a long rally by scoring for L'Anse in the fifth set against Ironwood in this Class C District Semifinal.

HOGGARD HITS HORNET WINNER – To wrap up the match, Karli Hoggard drills it home for L'Anse to complete the Purple Hornets' 3-2 win.

The 2022 Volleyball Finals field is full, with Division 2 and 3 title contenders earning their way Friday to the final day of this season.

Saturday’s championship match schedule, including the Division 4 and 1 finales determined Thursday, will conclude the fall at Battle Creek’s Kellogg Arena:

10 a.m. – Division 4 – Athens (34-12-3) vs. Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart (43-7-6)
Noon – Division 1 – Bloomfield Hills Marian (48-1) vs. Northville (47-3)
2:30 p.m. – Division 3 – Pewamo-Westphalia (45-2-2) vs. Kalamazoo Christian (39-5-3)
4:30 p.m. – Division 2 – North Branch (52-7) vs. Cadillac (34-10-4)
