Here's a look at our Week 1 "Unforgettable 5ive" from MHSAA.tv and MHSAA media partner broadcasts:
► Haslett's Nakai Amachree scored both of the Vikings' touchdowns in a 21-14 loss to DeWitt. He returned the opening kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown and a punt 75 yards for another score.
► West Bloomfield's Deonte Pippen Jr. scored two touchdowns including this 87 yarder in the Lakers' 47-7 win over Sterling Heights Stevenson.
► Charlevoix's Henry Herzog scored from 21 yards out in a 24-15 win over East Jordan.
► Flint Beecher's Jaylin Townsend returned a kickoff 79 yards for a touchdown during a 47-26 loss to Saginaw Nouvel. Townsend also had three touchdown catches in the game.
► In 8-player action, Morrice scored a game-winning touchdown with a minute left to defeat Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart 14-8. Travis Farrow carried it six yards into the end zone for the winner.

1. GIRLS SOCCER Division 1 No. 5 Hudsonville won a matchup of ranked opponents 3-0 over Division 3 No. 6 Grand Rapids South Christian – FOX 17
2. BASEBALL Division 1 No. 12 Rochester Adams followed Parker Picot to a 6-2 win over No. 8 West Bloomfield – Oakland Press
3. SOFTBALL Madie Jamrog pitched Division 2 honorable mention Hamilton to a sweep of Holland Christian, including with her second-straight perfect game in the opener – Holland Sentinel
4. BASEBALL Evan Knochel returned after missing most of last season with an injury by throwing a no-hitter for Pinconning against Oscoda – Bay City Times
5. BASEBALL Spring Lake picked up an impressive sweep of Division 3 No. 3 Grand Rapids West Catholic – Grand Haven Tribune
6. SOFTBALL Addy Rousey’s two-run homer was the difference as Flat Rock earned its first win, 7-5 over Division 2 honorable mention New Boston Huron – Monroe News
7. TRACK & FIELD Brighton swept Howell, with Liam Kinney’s 15-foot pole vault among highlights for the Bulldogs – Livingston Daily Press & Argus
8. GIRLS SOCCER Emma Ross’ goal with 4.6 seconds to play gave Gaylord a 2-1 win over Alpena – Petoskey News-Review
9. BASEBALL Traverse City Christian’s opening sweep of Harbor Light Christian included a no-hitter and a walk-off single – Traverse City Record-Eagle
10. BASEBALL Emmett Lingeman struck out 16 as Central Montcalm downed reigning Central State Activities Association champion Reed City to start a doubleheader sweep – Greenville Daily News
