Listen to Coach, on Concussions

Farmington Hills Harrison football coach John Herrington has won 13 MHSAA championships and nearly 400 games over the last four decades. So when he speaks about concussion awareness, we all should listen. 

As part of the MHSAA's ongoing concussion education, Herrington spoke on camera about the importance of proper perspective when it comes to those injuries.

► Connor McCain throws a 27-yard pass to Jayce Sears in Elkton-Pigeon-Bay Port Laker's 32-14 win over Bad Axe. 

► Calumet's Aksel Loukus scores on a 48-yard TD run as Calumet downs Houghton 35-12. 

► Ithaca defeats Saginaw Michigan Lutheran Seminary 50-18, in part with a 67-yard TD run from Nathan Mikesell. 

► Olivet downs Lake Odessa Lakewood 42-7 as Ramsey Bousseau scores on an 84-yard touchdown run. 

► Jermain Calloway intercepts the pass and returns it for a score as Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett edges Royal Oak Shrine Catholic 16-13.
