EAST LANSING, Mich. - March 2 -- Public sale of tickets for the 1999 Michigan High School Athletic Association Boys Basketball Semifinals and Finals begins on Tuesday (March 9) exclusively through the Breslin Student Events Center Box Office.

The semifinals will take place in the Breslin Student Events Center in East Lansing on March 25 and 26, with the finals on March 27. The Class C semifinals will take place in a doubleheader on March 25, with games at 1 and 2:50 p.m. The Class D semis are that evening, with games at 6 and 7:50 p.m. On March 26, the Class A semifinals begin the day with a twin bill at 1 and 2:50 p.m.; followed by games in Class B at 6 and 7:50 p.m.

Tickets for all semifinal games are $5.00 each per session.

Tickets for final games on March 27 are sold in an all-day package, priced at $18.00. The Class D-C doubleheader leads off the day, with the D championship at 10 a.m., with the C title game to follow at about noon. At 4 p.m., the Class A finals will be contested; and the Class B session winds up the weekend at 7:30 p.m.

Single session tickets for the finals will be sold during the semifinals, subject to availability. Single session final tickets are $6.00 each.

For the first time in 1999, there will be no limit on the number of tickets an individual may purchase for the semifinals or finals.
