EAST LANSING, Mich. - July 21 - The Michigan

an annual series of regional in-service workshops for athletic
directors in August.
The series of nine workshops begins August 6, and one session

working with game contracts, facility scheduling, and budgets;
to hiring game officials and on-going relations with the public
and the media. Athletic department secretaries and booster club
officers are also encouraged to attend at all sites.
Each program will include presentations on recent actions by
the MHSAA Representative Council, Association regulations, round-table
discussions and the presentation by a local athletic administrator.
At three sites, the MHSAA will join with the Michigan Interscholastic
Athletic Administrators Association to conduct a seminar called
Legal Issues and Strategies in Athletics.
The programs begin at 8:30 a.m., and four of the sites will
conclude their day with lunch at 12:30 p.m. The three sites
offering the Legal Issues and Strategies in Athletics, and the
