Reairing Schedule For Football & Girls Basketball Finals
Telecasts Set On FSN Detroit

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Dec. 13 –Reairings of MHSAA Finals telecasts from the recently-completed Fall sports seasons in football and girls basketball will take place during the coming weeks on the Association's television partner, FSN Detroit.

Here is the schedule for football replays:

  • Division 2 – Hudsonville vs. Birmingham Brother Rice – Saturday (Dec. 17), 12:30 p.m.
  • Division 6 – Kingsley vs. Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central – Saturday (Dec. 17), 3:00 p.m.
  • Division 4 – Grand Rapids Catholic Central vs. Flint Powers Catholic – December 25, 12:30 p.m.
  • Division 7 – Traverse City St. Francis vs. Unionville-Sebewaing – January 7, 2006, 12:30 p.m.
  • Division 1 – Rockford vs. Canton – January 8, 2006, 12:30 p.m.
  • Division 5 – Muskegon Oakridge vs. Jackson Lumen Christi – January 21, 2006, 12:30 p.m.
  • Division 3 – Caledonia vs. Haslett – January 21, 2006, 3:00 p.m.

The Division 8 finale between Crystal Falls Forest Park and Mendon aired last Saturday (Dec. 10).

Here is the schedule for girls basketball replays:

  • Class D – Frankfort vs. Lansing Christian – January 6, 2006, Noon
  • Class A – Southfield Lathrup vs. Detroit Martin Luther King – January 13, 2006, Noon
  • Class C – Houghton vs. Michigan Center – January 20, 2006, Noon
  • Class B – Detroit Renaissance vs. Hudsonville Unity Christian – January 27, 2006, Noon

All games in both sports may be reaired again at future dates. Consult your local listings for more information. This winter, FSN Detroit will be the home to MHSAA Finals in Boys Basketball, Girls Competitive Cheer and Girls Volleyball.

The MHSAA is a private, not-for-profit corporation of voluntary membership by over 1,200 public and private senior high schools and junior high/middle schools which exists to develop common rules for athletic eligibility and competition. No government funds or tax dollars support the MHSAA, which was the first such association nationally to not accept membership dues or tournament entry fees from schools. Member schools which enforce these rules are permitted to participate in MHSAA tournaments, which attract approximately 1.6 million spectators each year.
