On behalf of Michigan High School Athletic Association Executive Director John E. "Jack" Roberts, we would like to invite you to be our guest at one of the 7 MHSAA UPDATE meetings scheduled for this fall. A complete schedule and release on our 23rd annual UPDATE series is enclosed in this mailing. We hope that you will communicate this information to your respective audience.

You should find the meeting in your area to be a valuable source of information in covering high school athletics in the year ahead. In attendance at these meetings will be superintendents, principals, athletic directors and school board members from your area.

Items to be discussed at these meetings include current issues involving MHSAA member schools, rules and regulations, future plans and matters which the Representative Council acted on in the past year and is expected to address in the coming months.

Jack Roberts will be conducting all of these meetings and will be available to you for one-on-one interviews prior to each luncheon meeting at approximately 11 a.m. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to meet with Jack when he is in your area. Please notify this office in advance if you wish to conduct an interview.

Additionally, we would like you to be our guest for lunch at one of the sites that will be serving a meal. Simply indicate on the form the number of luncheon tickets you need. We ask your cooperation in having only members of your staff covering the meeting ordering luncheon tickets. Please notify our office as soon as possible if you or a member of your staff would like to attend.
